Ashley Strongarm is an Americana singer/songwriter residing in Brooklyn. Born and raised in North Carolina, her music pulls inspiration from traditional folk, southern rock, and classic country to create a sound that pays homage to her southern roots. Her somber and often introspective lyrics reflect her experiences as a woman caught between two worlds: The one she was born into and the one she has set out to redefine as a young artist in New York.

“Ashley Strongarm is one of the more intriguing songwriters we have come across lately. Her songwriting is tight, clever, and relatable, while her sound draws from folk and modern singer songwriter influences. We were reminded of Jessica Lea Mayfield in how she is able to craft sharp lyrics while still offering an embattled hope. Strongarm is a rare talent and we are excited to hear more.” - Ear to the Ground Music

“Ashley Strongarm mixes evocative lyrics, beautiful guitar and a slow thoughtful beat to reflect both the old wounds, and the newfound confidence that the she is building for herself.” - B-Sides & Badlands

“Ashley is afraid of milk and no one knows why.” - Her mother
